The Sanderson sisters(Middler, Najimy and Parker)are witches that steal the essence of children to keep them young and immortal. 300 years after their hanging, a virgin (Actually a teenage boy)lights a black candle at their old home. This brings the sisters back to life. The sisters get to work to maintain their immortality, or else they'll be dust by the light of day. The boy, his young sister and his girlfriend works to stop them and are aided by Binx, a black cat that is under a curse. It seems that Binx's little sister was killed by the sisters and he was transformed into a cat by the sisters in an attempt to save her. A pretty good film, with a lot of scares for the children (Although some may be bothered by what the witches do to the children)and the end leaves you a bit teary eyed (Years later, I STILL cry when I watch the end. but overall a good movie. Worth renting and having in your collection.
